BEND OKTOBERFEST

Location: Downtown Bend

Bend Oktoberfest is all about local craft beers, Bavarian wines, food and fun. Their unusual lineup of events includes a yodeling contest, Wiener Dog Race, Tricycle Race, costume contest bendhamershagen race to hammer a naiinto a custom table) and more! The event typically happens in mid to late September.

BITE OF BEND

Location: Downtown

The Bite of Bend is a three day celebration of food in June throughout downtown Band that brings together the culinary influencers in the region chels, bartenders, local purveyors, food enthusiasts and home cooks. Sample bites from local chets, enjoy cocktails at the Mixology Showcase and watch the Bartender Brawl and Bend's local Top Chef competition.

SUMMER FESTIVAL

Location: Downtown Bend

Bend Summer Festival is a celebration of the arts culture and community each July in downtown Bend. Featuring good food, drinks, three stages of live concerts, a family play zone, a kids summer sprint and a marketplace with hundreds of vendors Explore fine art, crafts, handmade goods and specialty food products from the Pacific Northwest

FARMER'S MARKET

Location: Brooks Alley Downtown bend

The Bend Farmers Market is in season Wednesdays from the beginning of May to mid-October downtown in Brooks Alley Find fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, flowers and culinary treats and products from local farms and producers.

MUNCH & MUSIC

Location: 777 NW Riverside Blvd, Bend

Munch & Music is a free summer concert series downtown in Drake Park at the outdoor amphitheater along the Deschutes River. With lawn-Seating-only it's a great location for picnic while Listening to live music. They have a selection of food vendors, beer, wine, spirits and a kids zone. Make sure to bring your own blanket and chairs.

BENDFILM FESTIVAL

Location: Downtown

Recognized by Movie Maker Magazine as one of the "Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals In The World. The BendFilm Festival is four days of stimulating independent cinema, panel discussions and parties throughout downtown Bend. The festival runs the second weekend in October. Bendfilm hosts year-round programming at the Tin Pan Theater, an Arthouse cinema downtown in Tin Pan Alley.

THE GREAT DRAKE PARK DUCK RACE

Location: 777 NW Riverside Blvd, Bend

For some quacking good fun go to The Great Drake Park Duck Race where children and adults cheer on rubber duckies as they race in the current of the Deschutes River. The first ducks to the finish win generous prizes. Before the mce festivities include music, food, and activity booths. The kids area has face painting bounce houses, dunk chambers and kid-friendly snacks. The event happens in September and raises money for local charities

FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

Location: Downtown Bend

Take in local and national art in downtown Bend and the Old Mill District on the first Friday of every month Galeries and participating businesses host art exhibits, artist talks, and live music. The year round monthly event is free.

EARTH DAY PARADE & FAIR

Location: Downtown Bend

Bend's annual Earth Day Fair & Parade is a vibrant celebration of the natural world and our dynamic community. Join the festivities for local food, interactive displays, movies, live music and family friendly activibes. The event kicks off with a colorful, zany energetic parade filed with children and adults dressed as their favorite animals and plants.
