The Deschutes Historical Museum is located in the Reid School building, Bend's first modern school. The museum's exhibits focus on the area's prehistory, Native American tribes, explorers pioneers, transportation, and the logging industry. MeMeramin's Old St. Francis School is a unique hotel with a pub, brewery, music theater and soaking pool. Try to find the Secret bar, also known as the broom closet. The property was originally a Catholic school but now it's a cool place to grab a bite and hang out. If the weather is nice they have several outdoor patios.

HAYDEN HOMES AMPITHEATER
This outdoor riverfront Amphitheater in the historic Old Mil District hosts concerts, races and the second largest brewfest in the northwest every August. It's Oregon's largest ampitheater with concerts typically starting over Memorial Day Weekend and continuing throughout the summer.
